The Steel Juggernauts

House Goliath

Introduction

In the deepest reaches of Necromunda’s underhive, where the forge-fires burn as intensely as the desire for freedom, a formidable gang has risen from the shackles of servitude to forge their own destiny. Known throughout the hive as “The Steel Juggernauts,” this band of former slaves, now freed, carves a path of liberation and vengeance under the echoing booms of their heavy footsteps.

Leading this fierce troupe is Nurg Forgewrecker, a colossal figure not born of the vat but from the fire of struggle and resilience. As the Forge Tyrant, Nurg’s presence commands respect and fear in equal measure. His leadership has transformed the broken chains of his past into a symbol of strength for all of Goliath’s oppressed.

Beside him stands his protege, Nedhin, a Forge-Born maiden whose spirit and prowess in combat inspire those around her. Her rise from the darkness of servitude to the forefront of battle marks her as a beacon of hope and a testament to the indomitable will of the Goliaths.

Grax Fleshrender and Skudd Beefbludger, both titled Forge Bosses, reinforce Nurg’s command with iron fists and steel resolve. Grax, known for his brutal efficiency in dismantling foes, and Skudd, whose sheer physical force can shatter the morale of their enemies, are pivotal in their gang’s relentless march towards autonomy.

Zrugh the Splitter and Raegor Scrapshank, the Bruisers of the gang, embody the raw, unbridled fury of The Steel Juggernauts. Their roles as enforcers are crucial, ensuring that no threat goes unchecked and that the gang’s territory expands uncontested.

Dulfg Bulkhead, the Bully, uses his imposing size to intimidate and dominate, ensuring the gang’s dominance within the underhive’s brutal hierarchy.

Lastly, Skrall Skullhunter epitomizes the role of a Goliath Road Thug. Roaming the maze-like corridors of the underhive, Skrall ensures that all know of The Steel Juggernauts’ reach and the price of opposing it.

Together, The Steel Juggernauts are not just survivors but conquerors, reshaping the underhive into a realm where the chains of the past have no hold. Under Nurg’s rule, they are a force of raw power and unyielding determination, fighting not just for territory but for the very concept of freedom within the oppressive depths of their world.

Goliath VS Gene Stealer Cults

In the blistering heart of Necromunda’s underhive, where the air shimmers with heat and the ground is littered with slag, a fierce confrontation unfolds between the indomitable Steel Juggernauts and the enigmatic Cult of the Star-Rapture. The contested prize: the Slag Furnace, a vital resource rich in raw materials and strategic importance.

The Steel Juggernauts, led by the formidable Nurg Forgewrecker, had long sought control of the Slag Furnace to cement their newfound freedom and expand their burgeoning empire. For Nurg and his gang of freed slaves, the furnace was more than a source of material wealth—it symbolized the fire of liberation, the very essence of their struggle against the chains that once bound them.

Meanwhile, the Cult of the Star-Rapture, guided by the mystic visions of Cult Alpha Yannus, believed the Slag Furnace held a deeper, cosmic significance. According to their prophecies, the intense heat and transformative power of the furnace were key to their Day of Ascension, when their celestial emperor would descend to lead them to glory.

As the Steel Juggernauts approached the towering structure of the Slag Furnace, their massive forms silhouetted against the fiery glow, they found the cultists already encamped. Yannus, surrounded by his devoted followers, welcomed the confrontation with a serene smile, his arms spread wide as if to embrace the chaos of battle.

The first clash was brutal and direct. Grax Fleshrender and Skudd Beefbludger led the charge, their immense bodies clad in makeshift armor that glinted under the furnace’s light. They met the cultists’ zeal with raw physical might, hammers and axes swinging in deadly arcs.

But the Cult of the Star-Rapture was not to be underestimated. Skrizz, the Hybrid Acolyte, weaved through the melee with unnatural agility, his strikes precise and lethal. Around him, Neophyte Hybrids like Karrib and Hokland fought with a fanaticism that matched their belief in their divine destiny.

Above the din of battle, the roars of the Juggernauts, and the chants of the cultists, the Slag Furnace roared to life, its ancient machinery awakened by the conflict. The ground trembled, and sparks flew as if the very soul of the underhive was stirring.

Amidst the chaos, Nurg Forgewrecker found himself face to face with Yannus. The Forge Tyrant’s eyes burned with a fierce determination as he swung his massive forge hammer. Yannus countered with the grace of a preacher turned warrior, his four arms moving in a deadly dance of defense and attack.

As the battle raged, Nedhin, the young Forge-Born, made a daring move. She navigated the battlefield with a group of her most trusted gangers, aiming to seize control of the furnace’s main control valve. If they could divert the flow of molten slag, they could turn the tide of the battle.

The outcome of this epic confrontation would not just determine who controlled the Slag Furnace but would also send ripples throughout the underhive, proving that even the gods could be challenged and that the chains of the past were no match for the forged will of the free.

The battle ignited when Grax Fleshrender, a towering giant from the Steel Juggernauts, leaped from the first floor with a ground-shaking thud. With his eyes set on the Cult’s positions, he stormed down the stairs directly towards Imrald, a Neophyte Hybrid caught completely off guard. Before Imrald could react, Grax’s mighty fists came down like hammers, rendering him out of action in a swift, brutal strike.

The clash of Grax’s feat drew the attention of Moz, an Aberrant driven by a raw desire for vengeance. He rounded the corner with fury in his steps, his every blow aimed with lethal intent. However, each strike against the unyielding flesh of Grax only seemed to fuel the Goliath’s rage further. In a ferocious counterattack, Grax landed a crushing blow on Moz, leaving him seriously injured on the gritty floor.

As Grax stood victorious, the air was pierced by the rapid firing of three pistols. Cult Alpha Yannus dashed into the fray, his weapons blazing. Bullets flew, one striking Moz, who lay incapacitated, and another glancing off Grax’s furnace plate. Without hesitation, Grax charged at Yannus with a roar. The ensuing clash was brutal and swift; with one devastating blow, Yannus too was knocked out of action, his body crumpling beside his fallen comrades.

Meanwhile, Nurg Forgewrecker and his protege Nedhin witnessed Raegor Scrapshank fall seriously injured from sniper fire by cultists perched on an overlooking balcony. Shock gripped them momentarily, but it was abruptly shattered by the thunderous approach of Splatler, another Aberrant wielding deadly intent. The monster’s massive blade swung wildly, gravely wounding Nedhin and slashing Nurg with a deep cut. Yet, the Forge Tyrant, fueled by fury and protective instinct, responded with a flurry of blows that sent Splatler reeling back, defeated from the fight.

The Slag Furnace, illuminated by flashes of gunfire and the glow of molten metal, became a stage for this deadly ballet of violence. As the dust settled, the Steel Juggernauts stood battered but unbroken, their claim to the furnace stronger than ever, a testament to their resilience and ferocity. The Cult of the Star-Rapture, though diminished, slinked back into the shadows, their plans thwarted but not vanquished, ever plotting their next move in the endless war for supremacy beneath the surface of Necromunda.

Delaque VS Goliath

In the twisting, narrow corridors of Necromunda’s underhive known as the Needleways, a clash of shadows and muscle is brewing—a confrontation that would determine control over these critical passageways. The Needleways, a labyrinthine network of tunnels and pipelines, are crucial for discreet transport and communication, making them a prized asset for any who rule them.

House Goliath, known for their brute strength and indomitable will, has set its sights on the Needleways to expand their territory and enforce their dominance over weaker gangs. The muscle-bound warriors, clad in their signature heavy armor and wielding massive weapons, are led by the formidable figure of a Goliath kingpin who sees the strategic value in controlling the Needleways. To the Goliaths, strength is not just physical but territorial, and the Needleways represent a vital artery of power running through the underhive.

Conversely, House Delaque, the masters of espionage and subterfuge, have long held sway over the Needleways. Their control is less about brute force and more about the flow of information and the orchestration of unseen strikes. The shadowy figures of House Delaque move silently but with deadly efficiency, using the cover of darkness to their advantage. The leader of the Delaque forces in the Needleways is a figure enshrouded in mystery, rumored to appear out of thin air to strike fear and confusion among his enemies.

As the Goliaths stomp their way into the Needleways, their heavy boots echoing through the tunnels, they are met with a chilling silence—an ominous sign of the Delaque’s preparedness. The Goliaths, with their direct and confrontational style, begin their advance, relying on their physical prowess to carry them through. However, they quickly find that every shadow could be a hiding place and every echo might be a trap.

Meanwhile, the Delaques execute their defensive strategy with precise coordination. From hidden alcoves and secret passages, they strike swiftly and retreat into the shadows, their attacks designed to disorient and wear down their physically superior opponents. The leader of the Delaque forces orchestrates this symphony of whispers and ghostly assaults, his identity as obscured as his tactics.

The confrontation intensifies as both houses deploy their strengths in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse. The Goliaths, frustrated by the hit-and-run tactics, attempt to flush out their adversaries with sheer force, turning to heavier weaponry that could potentially collapse sections of the Needleways themselves.

As the battle rages, the outcome remains uncertain. Will the sheer strength and fury of House Goliath overcome the cunning and stealth of House Delaque? Or will the master manipulators of the shadows turn the Goliaths’ strengths into their downfall? The control of the Needleways hangs in the balance, with each side determined to claim this arterial lifeline as their own, shaping the future power dynamics of the underhive.

The Steel Juggernauts, driven by raw power and resilience, had pushed hard to deny the devious Delaque gang access to this vital artery. Despite their efforts, and having forced the Architects to retreat in disarray not once but twice, the tides turned unexpectedly. In the critical moments of the battle, as smoke and dust choked the narrow corridors, the youngest of the Juggernauts, Dulfg Bulkhead, found himself the last warrior standing for his gang. His retreat, while strategic, granted the Architects crucial victory points, tipping the scales in their favor with a narrow and cunning victory.

The cost of the battle was steep for the Juggernauts. Skudd Beefbludger, a seasoned warrior known for his brute force, succumbed to the lethal plasma burns inflicted during the fray. Despite the desperate efforts of Nedd the Stapler, their medic, the dice of fate rolled a cruel one, sealing Skudd’s grim fate.

Amidst the chaos, Raegor Scrapshank, another stalwart of the Juggernauts, was captured by the Architects, adding insult to injury. The loss stung deep, igniting a burning desire within the Juggernauts to launch a rescue operation. They were not about to leave a brother in the clutches of their shadowy foes.

However, not all was grim for the Steel Juggernauts. Dulfg Bulkhead emerged as a beacon of hope and ferocity. His remarkable prowess in the battle was highlighted by his daring takedown of three Architects, including their leader who, set ablaze by his own risky tactics, became a human torch stumbling through the battlefield. Bulkhead’s actions not only boosted his experience but also earned him a well-deserved increase in skill, making him even more formidable in close combat.

The aftermath of the battle was a mix of recovery and strategy. The Juggernauts gathered to rebuild their strength and honor their fallen. The introduction of new members like Kragg Scumclubber and Hilk Grox-eater marked a fresh, albeit vengeful, beginning for the gang. These new warriors, fueled by the tales of the battle and the loss of their comrades, were eager to prove their worth.

Meanwhile, the Architects’ slanderous whispers about the Juggernauts’ leader circled the underhive, eroding his hard-earned reputation. Determined to reclaim their honor and free their captured brother, the Juggernauts prepared for the next clash, their resolve hardened like the steel they were named for.

The battle for the Needleways was but one chapter in the ongoing saga of Necromunda’s gang wars, a tale of strategy, sacrifice, and the unyielding will to survive in the face of treachery and loss.
